I've always loved Anthropologie. I love the textured photographs, the styling, the layering, the unimaginable color combinations...the understated knits and the over-the-top accessories--I've always found it so serene and romantic. I receive e-mail updates and in today's catalog I fell in love with the Yukata dress. As I continued to browse page after page of new arrivals, I noticed a link on the lower right corner of the site--a link called The Anthropologist. I clicked it, and to my surprise, found a beatiful photo blog by Phillip Toledano. The blog is dedicated to his daughter Loulou. The photos are strangely beautiful. enjoy.

The Wedding Show: The Ultimate in Bridal 2010
My dear friends at Belle Magazine, along with another great group of local vendors, have coordinated a magnificient wedding show, the first of the like in our area! I was asked to be a judge for their tablescape contest! I cannot wait! If you are in the area, make sure to stop by this Sunday, starting at 11am. Admission is $20 (includes bride + guest). Show benefits Junior League of El Paso. See you all there!

Malandrino's charming eats during #NYFW
A little Friday snack.
photo: Melissa Hom via NY Magazine
Read this cute article in the NY Mag's Grubstreet section. Designer Catherine Malandrino talks about her diet during New York Fashion Week. Love it, love it! So chic and delicious!
One of my faves, "I woke up starving, dreaming about spaghetti Bolognese, so my partner Bernard made some for me — we ate pasta and celebrated again with Champagne. It was beautiful."

I'll take a Mai Tai, Straight Up!
I was told about this adorable salon today! I absolutely love the concept--no cuts, no color, just blowouts! Unfortunately Dry Bar salons are only in Cali and I'm not, but for those of you who are in L.A. and surrounding areas--you should totally go! All blowouts are $35 and you can chose from Manhattan (sleek & smooth) to Mai Tai (messy & beachy) and a few other styles. I haven't loved anything this much in a while! (and the website is adorable, too)
