The Right Kind of Flare

I've always been a fan of a high-waisted, flared pant and I love that we're seeing it a lot these days with the 70's-inspired trends. My friend, Amanda P. sent me the picture in the middle...Isn't that gorgeous? The last one is by Australian brand, Ladakh.

Rodarte's Solo

What a six years it's been for the Mulleavy sisters since debuting their crazy-genius line, RodarteThey launched their brand, everyone loved it, partnered up with MAC for a Juarez-themed line (uhh...that didn't go so well), created costumes for award-winning Black Swan, everyone loved that, and now they've got an exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Los Angeles. I'd love to get a close-up of those ballerina costumes. More about the exhibit here.

Vivid Neoclassical Pleasantries

I'm in search of the perfect decor for a fun project we've got coming up (details soon!) I saw this nice spread in the May issue of AC and loved it! Pinks, golds, purples, neoclassical figures and stripes are all played out in a very mature way; this is a flat in Paris, by the way...go figure. I love it, what are your thoughts on this style?

Brace[let] Yourself!

Mi vida! Look at these AMAZING bracelets (first one's my favorite). The knitted ones at the bottom remind me of friendship bracelets growing up...with a glam twist, of course. Here's an idea: get a good tan, a statement watch and layer these bracelets. All available at Henri Bendel.

Atelier Swarovski Debuts at Henri Bendel

The only thing I love better than beautiful shiny stones, Henri Bendel, and my beautiful gay, Joey (who works there) is... knowing I can find all three at the same place. Swarovski is currently debuting its amazing atelier line at the luxury retailer. I'd love to see that window display! Maybe I'll have Jo e-mail me some pics. In the meantime, here's a preview of some of the designs by Prabal Gurung, Michael Kaplan, Mark Fast and more.

Rihanna's Vogue's April Girl

Rihanna's the cover girl for Vogue's April 2011 issue. Saying she looks amazing is an understatement. Her cover shot is my favorite--love the fluidity.

Grays Grace

My friend Yara got married in a beautiful house in San Benito, TX called Casa Los Ebanos. I loved absolutely everything about it, but my favorite room was the dining room. I snapped some photos of the gray wall paper and chandeliers with my phone to share it with my mom--who also loves interior decor. To my surprise, the latest issue of Architectural Digest had a room decorated a lot like the Texas-based house.

Creepy Cute Fashion Collector Dolls

Jason Wu collaborated with Madame Alexander to create these freakishly cute, one-of-a-kind dolls. The dolls are carefully sculpted and engineered which allows them to be posed in lifelike model poses. These dolls are regularly pricey, but if this looks like the kind of thing you're into collecting, you may want to take advantage of the Gilt sale. I don't know about you, but I'm kinda digging the blue fro.
