Yay for adorable swimwear! We recently met one of the reps for Zinke swim and lingerie while she stopped by J. Luxe. She mentioned the line, showed us a lookbook and we fell in LOVE. Zinke will be on its way to our store in July...and of course we're going to have a party for it.

Welcome Home, House of Harlow

We've added a pretty f'n chic brand to our ever-evolving accessories collection. House of Harlow embodies everything we ever want for a boho look (possibly one of our favorites). Not to mention, we LOVE Nicole Richie!

To celebrate the arrival of HOH, our neighbors at the fabulous Mesa Street Grill are throwing a party for us! We're even brainstorming with them to create the perfect J. Luxe signature drink for their summer menu.

Here are some of the pieces guests will have the pleasure of perusing at our event. All HOH accessories will be available at J. Luxe on June 22nd.

Join us Thursday, June 21st at Mesa Street Grill as we showcase our newest accessories line House of Harlow.

The [not-so-impossible] Art of Applying Nail Wraps

You came to J. Luxe, you saw, you conquered... You even walked out with those really cute nail wraps everyone is talking about.

Now you're home, you're unwrapping all your goodies and then you realize you have no clue how to apply a nail wrap. Great.

Lucky for us NCLA created this brief and painless how-to tutorial on applying the nail wraps. It's literally under two minutes and makes a world of a difference. We were so excited about it, we gave ourselves a nail wrap mani at work! (See our Instagram: J. Luxe Boutique).

Braid Du Jour: Jessica Avila Hair & Makeup x Lavender Girl

I have this amazzzzingly talented friend Jessica, we call her "Kaow," (don't ask). Well today as I was sorting through our new Lavender Girl hair accessory arrivals, Kaow stopped by for an impromptu visit. Loving all things hair-and-beauty, she immediately demanded I let her style my hair (just because). Gosh, I love when that happens. If you're on Facebook, please like her page--she's truly amazing!

This took her all of 10ish minutes with no styling tools or hair spray. Seriously. Just her hands and some flimsy old rubber band we dug out of one of our drawers. A feast for the eyes if I may say so myself. Enjoy the braid du jour.
